    BLACK CLOUDS NECKLACES

 

A ready to wear sub collection based solely on black smoke from fire during 2010 BP oil spill.

Each pieces are hand  drawn, illustrated from references of forms and silhouette of real images of toxic clouds bellowing from man-made oil spills pollution.

Illustrations are then laser cut from brass and oxidised black.

Beadings, Swarovski crystals and Egyptian cotton yarn are handwoven to each pieces for texture and dimension representing smog and oil slick.
